As you are aware NASS in partnership with the Laurel Trust is undertaking a research project investigating collaboration between small schools and in a range of settings.
To date we have been able to at how this affects schools working with a single partner, a formalised collaboration, within federations and under the umbrella of a Teaching School Alliance.
Whilst the research is still under way and no specific conclusion can be drawn at this stage, the findings to date have highlighted the value of working closely with a range of partners in order to make the most effective use of the available resources.
The final report will be completed by mid October and there is likely to be a conference to disseminate the findings in early November.
If you have any examples of collaboration with other small schools then these will be gratefully received.
